Qualified in many NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council) Units to include chainsaw maintenance, cross cutting, tree felling, climbing a tree and performing aerial tree rescue, use of a chainsaw in a tree from rope and harness, wood chipper.

Other Certificates include use MEWP (Man Elevated Work Platform) or Cherry picker, First Aid, LOLA (Lifting Operations  & Lifting Equipment Regulations) for equipment inspecting, abrasive wheels, Chapter 8 Signing, Lighting and Guarding (to deploy signs and traffic lights on the highway), LGV (Class I HGV).

A Certificate in Phase 2 Arboriculture to include all aspect of tree surgery, correct pruning techniques, tree biology, tree identification, pest and diseases, tree planting, soil samples, Risk Assessments and Method Statements and also a Certificate in Agricultural Engineering.

Roles include administration, payroll, Risk Assessments and Method Statements, Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Area Applications, Employee Legislation and Welfare.

Qualified arborist at Brooksby Melton College, passing first time in all his NPTC units to include chainsaw maintenance, cross cut and stack, felling, aerial tree rescue, use a chainsaw from rope and harness and First Aid as well as gaining Edexcel BTEC level 3 subsidary Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture.
